How does IPL work?
The light emitted during the flash is absorbed by the melanin - the pigment responsible for the colour of your hair. This light is then converted to thermal energy that destroys the hair by cauterising the vessels which nourish the hair follicle. Throughout the sessions the E>O75 IPL treatments prevent any hair growth.
A total of 12 stages of security measures guarantee a purely professional treatment. The E>O75 hair removal device adheres to the strictest regulations and has been certified with Medical CE as well as TGA registered.
IPL unfortunately cannot be used on red or white hair. The hair needs colour in the follicle for it to work and these hairs have no colour.
Does IPL hurt?
You will be amazed by a very light warmth sensation at the moment of flash. Only on more sensitive areas might you feel a slight tingle. But nothing like older IPL or Laser technologies thanks to the unique SPL (Square Pulsed Light) technology. Though the length of a session varies on the area being treated you will be surprised by the speed and the gentleness of the treatment.
How many IPL sessions do I need?
Optimum results should require 6 - 8 treatments and it’s recommended to wait 6 weeks between sessions.
A decrease in hair regrowth is noticeable from the first session and throughout the sessions, your hair will become finer and less dense. 8 - 21 days after each session the hair will begin to fall out.
